Proudly part of the prestigious Asilia Africa property portfolio, Dunia Camp is an intimate, all-female run lodge located near a collection of rocky outcrops called the Moru Kopjes in the central Serengeti. As soon as you arrive at this stunning wood and canvas lodge, you will experience the gracious East African warmth and the women’s endless enthusiasm. Guests are guaranteed higher levels of service than what Asilia properties are known for with a stay at Dunia.
In this region of the Serengeti with an abundance of wildlife, morning and afternoon game drives are a definite highlight. In addition, the camp is the ideal starting point for hot air balloon safaris that end with a sumptuous champagne bush breakfast. The Moru Rhino project offers guests the opportunity to participate in special rhino tracking with a TANAPA ranger at an additional cost if they want to learn more about the remarkable conservation work being done in the region.
Eight luxurious open-plan tents are available, including one family tent with views of the Moru Kopjes and savanna plains. A wide, comfy bed, a private verandah with a sunken couch, a gorgeous, roomy bathroom with flush toilets, and hot running water are all included in each tent. With its wooden terraces covered in canvas, the camp has a clean, contemporary feel. The dining room is located next to the lounge, which is divided into a center space and a bar. For dinner, meals are served around a communal table, although they can also be served privately upon request.
