Your journey begins in Cape Town, South Africa’s most-loved coastal city heading inland to the gourmet capital of South Africa, Franschhoek. Next up, you will head north to Sabi Sands Game Reserve for the start of your safari experience. Discover Londolozi, a private game reserve in the Sabi Sands on daily game drives and guided walking safaris while staying at one of the most exclusive safari lodges in the world, Londolozi’s Private Granite Suites. As your South Africa safari draws to a close, you will be whisked away to the shores of Mauritius. Enjoy island living at its best on marine safaris, relaxing on the beaches of Belle Mare and discovering this tropical island’s natural sites. Your South Africa and Luxury Mauritius experience starts on arrival at Cape Town International Airport, where a Ker & Downey® Africa representative will be ready to transfer you to The Silo, located at the bustling V&A Waterfront of Cape Town. After a seamless check-in, you will have time to settle into your Suite. Your time in Cape Town can be spent discovering the city’s historic charm, diverse culture and natural wonders. Venture further afield with your dedicated guide and tour the Cape Point Peninsula, weaving your way through the iconic coastal drive, Chapman’s Peak on your return to the hotel.
After breakfast overlooking the beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton, your dedicated driver will be ready to transfer you into the heart of the Cape Winelands, a mere hour drive away. Located on a 30-acre estate in the Franschhoek Valley, La Residence offers an exclusive getaway surrounded by Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz vineyards, olive groves and plum orchards. Check into your Luxury Suite and discover the hotel’s collection of South African art, join one of the chefs on a tour of the herb garden, stroll through the vineyards and sample the estate’s wines and round it all off with a full body massage at the in-house spa. Your time in the Winelands includes a private guided tour of the surrounding estates. After breakfast on the Saxon’s Fig Terrace, your private guide will accompany you to OR Tambo Airport for your scheduled flight to Mauritius. Touch down in Port Louis where you enjoy a luxury Mercedes-Benz C class transfer to the One&Only Le Saint Geran, on the northern tip of the Belle Mare coastline.
