While celebrating your love, we guarantee you will also fall in love with Africa. Beginning in Arusha, the gateway of the northern safari circuit in Tanzania, you will stay at Arusha Coffee Lodge, located on a working coffee plantation. You will then move on to the exclusive Chem Chem Lodge which is renowned for its iconic wildlife that gathers around the many watering holes in front of the lodge. At Chem Chem Lodge we can arrange for a traditional Maasai ceremony complete with a Maasai choir to celebrate your special bond. This will make an extra special moment in time even more beautiful. On day 4, you will travel to the andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, located right on the rim of the Crater with the most breathtaking views on the planet. Last but not least, we’ll escort you to the ultra-luxurious One Nature Nyaruswiga Serengeti, located in the heart of the central Serengeti. The Serengeti is often referred to as the ‘Big Cat Capital’ and is home to over 3,000 lions. All of this paints the perfect backdrop for the enchanting and extra special romantic safari of your dreams.
Upon arrival in Arusha at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by a friendly representative of Ker & Downey Africa who will provide a VIP ‘Meet and Greet’ service before escorting you 1.5 hours to the Arusha Coffee Lodge. Here, you can spend the afternoon walking through the sprawling grounds of the estate and stop by ‘traders walk’ – a row of quaint shops that specialize in African crafts, carvings, Tanzanite gemstones, clothes and more. In the evening we recommend enjoying a fabulous meal in the gourmet restaurant overlooking the sparkling pool and water features. On day 2, enjoy a 2-hour coffee tour to see how coffee is grown, harvested, dried and produced. This is also an opportunity for you to purchase some aromatic freshly ground coffee to take home. Relax over lunch in either the main restaurant, Bacchus, or the vibey cafe bistro. In the late afternoon we have included a once-in-a-lifetime bucket list experience for you and your loved one. You will embark on a thrilling 1-hour light aircraft flight over Mount Kilimanjaro – the highest mountain in Africa! This adventure has an audio-guide that caters for most languages.

Here, you will be met by one of the lodge representatives from Chem Chem who will escort you on an easy 45-minute drive to Chem Chem Lodge – located on a 20 000 hectares private concession. After check in, you will have time to enjoy the perfect balance of wide-open spaces and untamed African bush and the vintage charm of the lodge itself.

During your stay you can enjoy a romantic bush breakfast, and special sundowners will be set up in the most amazing scenic location with cocktails and gourmet snacks. The lodge is highly rated for their food, so there will be no normal meals here! A romantic bubble bath set up by your private butler in the opulent copper bath tub with sweeping views of the Serengeti. On the morning of day 9 we have arranged a safari hot air balloon flight that will see you soaring over the Serengeti at sunrise, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush. It is not uncommon to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs and elephants from above. You can tailor the rest of the day to your liking, either embarking on a morning and afternoon game drive or even a full day 8-hour action-packed game drive with your guide.
Located in the heart of the Serengeti, Nyaruswiga features 14 ultra-luxurious tents, each with separate living areas, wood-burning fireplace and large copper bath positioned for taking long, relaxing bubble baths while watching wildlife pass by outside.
